We were disappointed with EDC Professional Home Inspections. We requested a wind mitigation inspection for our insurance company, and Erik suggested the 4-Point inspection and the wind mitigation for $125.00. Our home insurance suggested we get wind mitigation done to decrease our premiums. We made it extremely clear to Erik that we needed the wind mitigation, but we agreed to both. Erik came out and only performed a 4-Point inspection which was useless with the insurance company's request. We had to pay another company to come out and conduct the wind mitigating inspection. EDC did not render services that were agreed upon.

I highly recommend EDC Inspections. Very thorough and a pleasure to work with! They also didn’t try to rush through and took the time to answer the many questions we had as first time home owners.

Erik showed up on time and got to work right away. He took MANY photos and a video of the roof that you can look back in the future. He answered any questions I had that pertained to the home and that he was able to answer. The report was perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better platform that he uses to show you what any issues are for you to address right away and also let you know what may need to be fixed in the near future. I highly recommend EDC Professional Home Inspections. And he is very easy to get ahold of.

Also, a report can be given to the buyer to estimate repair costs, energy consumption, and total investments prior to them making an offer.
