Tiny Amtrak Station with opposite side access. The parking lot is on the opposite where passengers disembark from the train so one has to wait for train to leave the station to access the parking lot.

You will need to contact amtrac reservations. The run that goes NYC is new. It goes out Rutland. But if you contact them they may be able to find a connection. The go into Springfield mass and Hartford CT. And you could go that way. They are very helpful.
Parking Lots in town don't charge on weekends. So if the car arrives after 4 or 5 on Friday and isn't around all day Monday you could probably use any of the public lots in town. There is a parking garage on Elliot street.
