Was the land for Saratoga Lake Park donated to the City from the owner of 166 SE 5th St. I'm the present owner next to the park and was told by a old time horse shoe player that the land was at one time all one parcel,

I honestly don't know how deep it is. It's just a larger open area in the canal system. We only visited Cape Coral for a month, but we never saw any boats larger than pontoon and "bass boats" on the lake.

No, they're not allowed off of a leash. Pets are allowed on leashes, and enjoy a nice walk.
