Wow!! Caring, compassionate, professional, great communication, gentle, takes time to explain the condition & treatment. Dr Wieght was gentle, explained everything, ruled out conditions regular vets had said my pup had. Put me at ease immediately. Handicap accessible. Great staff, great doctor! Listened & explained. Wish I could find a regular vet like her. Also, given that it's a specialist appointment, charges were reasonable. Thank you Eye Care of Annapolis

This is a fantastic Eye Clinic. Dr Weigt is wonderful. She takes a genuine concern for her patients. She will be honest about treatment and recommend all possible and viable treatments. We have had 5 blind dogs and she has cared for all of them. I couldn't be happier to have her as part of our furbabies medical team.

I've been taking my service dogs to Eye Care for Animals (both Columbia and Annapolis) for 8 years. The doctors are fantastic. They make sure your fur baby is comfortable and they explain everything thoroughly. I'm glad there are such knowledgeable veterinary optometrists in the DC Metro area.

Questions & Answers

Can I change my appointment to a closer location

I would contact their office by phone - likely yes, though.

In the last couple days our Chihuahua (11 years old) appears to be having some minor facial paralysis. She doesn't blink on the right side, nor does she move her right ear. She seems to act fine, eat fine, etc. Can you offer any suggestion.

You need to go in and be seen. Dr. Weight is incredible but I'd start with your regular vet.
