3 1/2. The place was pretty crowded so I went to the bar to place a to go order. I wish they would have offered me some chips and salsa while I waited for the food to come out or put some in the bag to go. Chicken empanadas were pretty good, a little dry tho. I ended using the salsa from my burrito to dip them in and it definitely enhanced the flavor. Steak burrito was so so. I would eat there again and try something different next time.

Normally, I'm skeptical when I find out hear about a "great" Mexican place. Typically you find things are too watered down and they lose their soul. This place wasn't that, their food impressed me. Their tacos Al pastor were full of flavor, the chile relleno was the right texture and was absolutely delicious. The pollo tinga tostadas were a tasty and messy delight. Drinks and service was great here as well.

First time coming to this restaurant wasn't really impressed with the food. The rice was under cooked same with chicken and burrito. Everything tasted like it wasn't made fresh like it was store brought and left on a hot table came to me cold. The service was great but calling this restaurant Authentic Mexican food is far from it. Honestly, the only thing they have going for them is the food presentation and the drinks that's it. Stopped midway through my meal because I was getting sick trying to finish it. Give them a two for the service but food quality not there

No, they would need a fleet of vehicles for delivery. Tacos el Tio is immensely popular! Just go there and eat there! The food is great; so is the service (leave a decent tip; they work hard!) and the atmosphere. If you don't want to stay, ask for boxes for your food and you can take it home with you. I drive 40 minutes to go there, and it is well worth it! Incidentally, they are not pricey. The prices are very fair. Figure $10-$12 for tacos or burritos. Complimentary chips. If you like their margaritas, like I do, they are about $10. They are tasty, and one or two should do the trick. All the cars parked outside and all the people inside should indicate that people like Tacos el Tio, and no one is staying away because of the price! You're going to have a good meal and a good time.

We took our daughter (27 yrs old) for her birthday in September on a Friday night. We came at the end of Happy Hour so it was still crowded, but we didn't have a long wait. The service and food was very good. Drinks were okay.
Hello, to aswer the question of gluten free....Our whole menu is gluten free with the exception of chilli rellenos, burritos and chimichangas. We have corn tortillas just ask and inform your server of your allergy. Everything is made fresh in our establishment. Thank you for the inquiry
