My friend & I drove an hour & a half out to Lake Placid to meet up with Bill, who I had talked to on the phone the previous day. We were just a couple of caladium novices looking for some unusual varieties for our yards. Within 5 minutes of arriving at Caladium Bulbs 4 Less, we knew we were in for a wonderful experience with a very cool & friendly guy (and his dog, Harley) Bill actually took the time to drive us out to the fields so we could see for ourselves what growing these amazing plants is all about. He pointed out the differences and nuances of each variety & shared with us his knowledge & enthusiasm. We left with bags full of beautiful bulbs that we couldn’t wait to get in the ground & were shocked at how little the cost was! We’ll definitely be back again next season for lots more amazing bulbs & look forward to seeing Bill & his pal Harley!
