Great place to stay! The Storm King room was large and very clean. We loved the fireplace. The breakfasts were hearty and delicious. Dena was so accommodating to my wife's dietary needs. I would highly recommend staying here!

My fiance and I had an amazing time at Caldwell House! The room we stayed in was welcoming and homey, and also had a working fireplace, which was great, since we stayed in February. We were very impressed with the quality of the food, which ranged from roasted pineapple to baked oatmeal, and an egg polenta dish, which might sound unconventional, but was delicious. The owners were very accomodating with our dietary preferences. This was the perfect place to come back to after exploring the area for the day.

This place is the absolute best!! If you want a cozy and romantic getaway in a beautiful location, there’s nothing better. The rooms are beautifully decorated and so thoughtful - there was even a white noise machine and a small wine fridge! The breakfasts were delicious, and Dena was kind and responsive and catered to my dietary restrictions. Will absolutely be staying here again!

The Caldwell House is an absolutely beautiful bed and breakfast. The rooms are so cozy and the property is stunning. I stayed there for my wedding weekend and made use of the bridal suite. There are some beautiful spots on the property for pictures too. Dena is so sweet and accommodating. And the breakfasts she made each morning were delicious. Great coffee too! I would highly recommend a stay at the Caldwell House.

Unfortunately, since we are not a restaurant we can only serve guests who stay here. Thanks for asking.
Technically we are private property. For insurance purposes, we are supposed to limit the use of the property to our guests. If you were to fall or have an accident on the property, it would be the same as it occurring on private property. If you are seeking shade, we have a tree in the front yard close to the road that you can feel free to use.

When my wife and I stayed at the Caldwell House, in addition to the activities listed above, we took a few hours to go to the Woodbury Commons outlets for great shopping. It was really close, like 15 minutes away.
