The reviews made me a little nervous to show but it was actually great. Jasmine was absolutely sweet over the phone booking my appointment. Payton (if I spelt his name right) did an excellent job with my hair. For the instructors, you seem weird hovering around not introducing yourself yet commenting about things. Very weird being that you were probably licensed hair stylists or barbers and have salon experience. That became the only time I questioned my experience there. However, it was still great, for the most part it felt like going to an upscale salon -- including offering a drink. Haircut was perfect and the students kept a bright energy. Coming here every time now.

The school might be a good one. However their people skills are lacking. I asked to speak to an instructor and all I got was a 15 minute plus hold with a rude receptionist. The receptionist was completely unprofessional and talked over me. After paying $18K plus expenses for travel (an hour each way). One would think more compassion and professionalism would be extended. However Aveda appears to think they’re above the rest and that includes their students. In short they take your money and then turn on you!
