Great beach. Super enthusiastic life guards in training. Hope the woman in training who said "I am not black" in response to a request to get something for her group sees this. My heart ❤️ sank when I heard this. Slavery was supposed to be over over 158 years ago.

I've seen some thing in my day, however watching the Volusia county beach patrol in action was truly something. Watched 6 or more lifeguards create a chain to save a couple swimmers was incredible. They had to create a chain to get them all back in safely but mission accomplished! Thank you for keeping us safe!

Thank you, thank you to the two lifeguards that helped us today. My granddaughter and I got caught where we couldn't touch and the waves were just beating us. We were in a bad situation and their quick response saved us. I didn't even realize the first lifeguard was there, he was that quick. I didn't even get their names, for that, I apologize. Afterwards, I witnessed all the lifeguards frequently jumping into action assisting so many folks today. Kudos to you all for a job well done ladies and gentlemen. I'm am truly impressed with your ability and placing your lives on the line with every leap into action you take. You deserve every patron's respect on the beach. God bless you and stay safe.
