For a title transfer does the seller have to be present?

Beware! This is NOT the county tag office. First Daytona charges additional fees to renew auto tags. I paid a $2.83 surcharge to renew the tag on my Ford truck. I would not have paid that surcharge, had I gone to the county tag office.

I was just there the other day I was in and out in less than 20 minutes it just depends on the time of day you got Very important make sure you bring a bill of sale otherwise they will send you back with a paper for you to fill out for the seller make sure everything on the title is filled out

Bring the signed title and bill of sale to the tag agency. They will take your license, and will need proof of insurance. I believe it is 300 dollars to register a new car, plus the price of the plate and taxes from the purchase.

You'll have to find that out directly from them. I can tell you they are much nicer than the county govt office for tags and stuff.

I just paid for two Ford trucks, and my surcharges were $2.83 for each car. I would not have had to pay that surcharge, had I gone to the county tag agency.

My personal experience is that after you have the medical form from your doctor (required by the state) then you can come to this agency and get your placard.
