Today I was at Lake Imagine Leesburg facility for a chest X-Ray. The first question was Do you have negative COVID 19 test, and I was asking why? The person in front with grey hair said to me that they do not accept patients with Covid positive. I said to her this is a new medicine that you discriminate a patient for the medical conditions? She didn’t answer. COVID is a medical condition the same as flu, cancer or any other. It’s supposed that you have to treat a patient regardless to the medical condition. What about if for COVID the patient get a pneumonia and the only way that you can know is with X-Ray. Your facility is for help to the people know what they have and save lives. Not for Denied a service for medical condition. What happens with the medicine now?

I talked to a wonderful woman in your Insurance department today and on other occasions. My insurance turned me down for a Procedure and she was kind and helpful. I’m not sure if I got her name right, Tessie or similar. Thank you

Took my 83 year old momma to have a spine X-ray. She is disabled and has a lot of difficulty walking and getting up from a seated position. We walked in without an appointment and they never let us sit down. We were checked, the X-rays taken and out of the office in less than 20 minutes. Thank you to all four employees for your kindness and caring actions.

Lake Medical Imaging's quality of customer service is abysmal. Their wait times are ridiculous and even when you schedule an appointment they will have you sit in their hospital gowns out in public for upwards of 30-45 minutes. Additionally they tend to add charges to bills that are not expected and claim that they didn't know the charge would occur because "insurance" however since they collect your insurance information when they schedule you a month and a half earlier the charge should be known before the procedure. When you discuss it with the call center their response is "Thats just how it is".

No they do not have to have order but self pay prices are very reasonable but you can only do self pay if you dont have medicare
Thank you for the question. Referral is needed. Insurance authorization is also needed before we can tell what is due at the time of service.
Call them they are very polite and answer your questions.
No, we do a Level 3 exam, but it is not the same thing. Thank you for your interest.
