The good: the Chicago dog was absolutely great. Loved it. The fries were excellent, crispy, very good. The bad: the burgers were bland. No flavor or sear on the meat. Just blah. The cashier (new, in training) was clueless. He couldn’t do basic math or answer simple questions. Wrong guy, wrong job. We had to clean a table to have a place to sit. The staff just watched as I scrubbed the table with napkins. With a few simple changes this could be a great place.

We ordered 2 banana splits. Left to enjoy at home which is just a few blocks. As we were eating We found no bananas. They didn't have the decency to tell us. We went back last week for banana splits but first asked if they had bananas. The kid asked another person. No they didn't have bananas. Why have it on the menu then? The ice cream is good.

Its not oh my gosh AMAZING!! but it always hits the spot and tastes home made. I would rate it a 4.4/5. I love their burgers, crispy chicken sandwich, and the chicken tenders are my favorite. The staff is always friendly - even when it’s super hot in there they have a smile on their face and are kind. FYI- “the great divide” (half fries half onion rings) can feed 2, maybe even 3! And It’s always so nice to support a small biz instead of a chain.
