My sister (Connie Oliver) was transferred here from TrustBridge hospice in Hollywood Florida. I drove down there to get my sister. We got back on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 2:00 PM and I called Hope Hospice to see if they could come a day earlier to evaluate my sister. Hope Hospice sent out a nurse Tina at 2:20 PM. She was amazing and answered any questions we had and showed us how to administer medication to my sister. We also received a phone call later that evening seeing how my sister was and if she needed anything else. The next day nurses, Bethany and Brenda came to see my sister and did an evaluation and ordered everything my sister would need, oxygen, hospital bed, nebulizer, and additional medication. The next day, which was Monday, nurse Kristy came out and seen how much pain my sister was still in and doubled her dosage. Tuesday Bethany came back out and saw that my sister needed to be in hospice house for 24 hour care. They came an hour later and picked up my sister and brought her there. The first nurse I spoke with was Elva , she was one of the nurses for Room 12, at hospice house. She was compassionate and caring like the nurses from Team 110. I knew when I left visiting my sister that she was in good hands and that they would take care of her. The next day we went to visit my sister and we met Nurse Tiffany, and she was caring and compassionate just like the rest. I also met Nurse Jean and the nurse that bathed my sister. They were all warm and loving and treated my sister like she were their own family. They all went out of their way to make my family feel comfortable during each visit to the hospice wing. We will be forever grateful for being there for my sister for the final week of her life. Thank you so much for being there with my daughter, Connie Oliver, for the final week of her life." "Thank you for going out of your way to make my family feel comfortable during each visit to the hospice wing." I received a phone call on Saturday at 5:40 AM from Nurse Kayla , she was with her when she took her last breath at 5:34 AM. She stayed with her and held her hand till she took her last breath. Hope Hospice is amazing and everyone that was involved with my sisters care, the nurses, doctors, answering services and my go to Clete went above and beyond. "Thank you so much for being there with my sister Connie Oliver, for the final week of her life." We will be forever grateful! Losing a loved one is hard but when you have the support like Hope Hospice it lightens the burden.

Horrible company to work for... Management is clueless. They have no idea what the enrollment team does. Long hours bad pay. HR warned me before I started that the team was a mess and needed to be out in their place that should have been my first clue... I will never refer anyone to work in the enrollment office it's a joke... I was bullied and disrespected from the day I started. I wish I never accepted a position there.. tge executive team has no clue about the day to day activities and they don't care.

Typically, someone admitted to hospice care is considered to have a life expectancy of six months or less, if their disease follows the normal course. However, many people receiving hospice care live longer than six months - and a small number improve and are discharged from hospice care.
