Amavida truly represents resort style living at its finest. The community is beautiful, well maintained and the staff are welcoming and helpful. I love that there's a park in walking distance too. It's certainly has got to be among the best retirement communities in SWFL. I highly recommend checking out Amavida if you're looking yourself or a family member.

Toured the facilities with my parents, lovely grounds and interiors throughout. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had lunch at the restaurant facing the pond, prices were very affordable and the quality of the food and service was excellent.

Hi Caroline, thank you for your question. Some lanai's are screened in the independent living at Amavida Living. If a resident would like to screen theirs in, they can hire an authorized vendor to do this. The cost would be the residents responsibility and will have to stay, should the resident move out.
