This place is a gem. The group working here has a passion for what they do in the repair and restoration of furniture If they had chairs and a coffee machine I would just hang out, and talk furniture stories

Adams Furniture Repair did an amazing job restoring my antique buffet. He was so easy to work with and really did a fantastic job. Would definitely recommend him to anyone needing something redone. Thank you so much for being a professional, honest company.

I am so glad I found Phil and his repair shop to help with my Furniture repairs. Phil was just awesome!!! He came and helped me with all of my furniture repairs on 5/3/2022. He was very professional and courteous and the repair was very much satisfactory. Thank you Phil for showing kindness in coming over to the home to fix all my furniture otherwise, it would have been difficult for me to bring all the furniture's in to your store. Thank you for taking care of me. May God bless you and your family and your business abundantly.

Questions & Answers

Do you do baking soda or sand blasting? I have an outside, homemade ( by former student) swing that is need of sanding & restaining.

Thank you for the question, we do not do sand blasting or powder coating as we primarily work with wood- that is for metal surfaces. If you could email photos of the swing to me I can make sure. Thanks!

I have an antique China cabinet with a curved glass front. I know it is at least 75 years old maybe older. The center section of glass was broken and must be replaced. It needs work on the wood sections as well. Is there anything that can be done?

Thank you for the question, the wood sections we can definitely repair, but the curved glass is a special order and would need to be purchased thru a glass company

Can Adam's Furniture Repair fix a sagging 1955 French Provincial style buffet? Cannot get the doors open...something underneath the piece needs propping up or tightening, or something!

Jill, more than likely we can repair it, it may need a new center leg to reduce the sagging in the middle, give us a call and we can discuss!

Do you repair the cable pulls on recliners?

Jacqueline McDonald | Sep 16, 2018
Adams Furniture Repair | Sep 16, 2018

Yes, most often the cable pull assembly will break and will need to be replaced. Depending on the manufacturer we can often replace them with universal parts, but sometimes if it's a specific brand (Lane, La-Z-Boy, etc) their connectors are proprietary and we have to acquire them directly from the manufacturer. More than likely we can replace them in home for a base service fee + parts.
