Nice little park, if you are staying in the Empire, Lawson, Downieville area. Playground for the younger kids set in a picturesque location.

Love empires park area. Secluded and very large. Kid play area pavilion, ball field basket ball court and hiking trails there is also a fenced in dog park. Bathrooms and water access. Very clean and relaxing.

People do, I've seen quite a few people there. Don't know how long you're allowed too. No hookups or anything.
