Biking riding is currently allowed on open and closed roads in the state forest. There are no paved paths or designated bike trails at this time. Hiking trails are closed to bikes, horses, motorcycles.
There are open roads that are 2 wheel drive able and some roads that require 4x4 throughout the forest. Just stay on roads that are named and not posted closed. Old Jennings Road to Live Oak Lane on the east side of the forest, Nolan Road or Hattie Nolan Road to access the creek sides on the south and CR 217 to Long Branch Cemetery or Long Branch Rd.
All campgrounds are primitive, Bootlegger does have an artesian well. Hammock Campground does not have water. There are two bathrooms with water, one at North Fork Recreation Area and the other is at Old Jennings Recreation Area
It's at the end of Indian Ford Road
