This is a great place! My grandmother receives excellent care here. The staff really cares about the residents and does activities with them to keep them engaged. These include Bingos, Bowling, "mocktails" on Fridays, and holiday parties. They treat her with care and respect.

My mother has been at the Village at Augsburg in Assisted Living for about 4 years. The Assisted Living Manager, Cathy, is remarkable. Cathy is attentive, knowledgeable and accessible. She follows through and truly cares about the residents. She works collaboratively with the families. Cathy’s committed leadership is evidenced in her staff; many of whom have been with Augsburg for many years. Most of the staff including the nurses, aides and receptionists are personable and engaging. They did an excellent job navigating through the COVID pandemic.

I can't say enough about how caring the staff are. It's been such a benefit to have the same nurses, dieticians, and other care professionals working with my mom as she has moved between independent living, assisted living, and short-term rehab over the past few years. They provide continuity in her care and therapies across settings and they really know her so they can recognize when something is out of character for her and needs additional attention. They are constantly keeping me updated about every change that they think will help her. The directors of the different settings all communicate smoothly with each other and me.
