Extremely pleased with my experience with Dr. Atkinson and the staff. Exhausted conservative treatment options for my shoulder prior to recommending surgery, and when it was eventually determined that surgery was necessary, he did a great job. Did my physical therapy there, and loved the staff and general atmosphere. Wholeheartedly recommend!

In 2021, I had surgery on both shoulders (right in April and left in August). Dr. Atkinson did a great job. Both shoulders are doing great.

Call me “old school”, but clients should always be the priority. Although the PT staff is highly qualified and the atmosphere is a positive and happy one, it’s unprofessional for them to have personal conversations with their coworkers, constantly view their phones and eat when clients are present. It’s just plain rude!

I was an orthopedic PA for 13 years, and I was appalled at the treatment I got. I came in with an extremely sore hip with sciatica from an injury a couple of weeks earlier. I first saw the PA who inquired about my injury and where I was suffering. She ordered three MRI’s, but never did any physical on me. The MRI’s were performed and a follow-up with Dr. Thompson occurred 2 weeks after the first visit. I told him I was still in a lot of pain with the sciatica. He read my MRI’s ( I could have read them.) and then said call me if you need me. He never did any exam on me with absolutely no physical exam!! I’m still in a lot of pain several weeks later. This was a totally unprofessional visit and treatment. If I had done that to an orthopedic patient I would have been fired!! I am telling all medical people that I know not to go there or refer there. I found that I wasted a lot of time and money for nothing. Robert Enright, PA-C

Although we treat many foot and ankle problems, we recommend that you see a podiatrist for plantar fasciitis. We currently do not have any podiatrists in our practice. If you have any further questions, please call our office at 239-482-8788. Thank you.

Two months ago I injured my left knee. Dr. Kagan ordered an MRI which indicated that I had several meniscus tears. I have returned to playing tennis and can run without pain. My question is should I exercise my knee using a stationary bike?

I tore my meniscus and after healing after surgery, i use a stationary bike for exercise with no problem. But that is juat me personally, they did recommend it.
