I used this company for tree trimming and sod in May 2021. The tree trimmers ran over my sprinkler system and crushed a section. They were supposed to come out and fix it but never did. The sod I ordered came in June/July. They were short because the "estimator" measured incorrectly. They said I needed another 600 sq. feet! How do you miss measure by 600 sq. ft?? Maybe 100 but not 600. So, we negotiated down to 400 sq. ft that I would be REQUIRED to pay for. Luckily I did not pay for the additional sod upfront. Needless to say they never showed back up to install the additional sod. My sprinkler system is still in disrepair and the yard still has no additional sod. In addition, the sod that they did lay was full of moths and weeds. It looks terrible. In addition, the customer service is smoke and mirrors. Horrible! I will NEVER use this company again.

I would HIGHLY recommend NEVER using sod express! They have horrible customer service and unprofessional employees. My experience was as follows....Although frustrating, it is understandable that sod deliveries may change due to weather conditions. The disappointing fact about sod express is even after delaying my sod for almost a week, they still did not show up for the confirmed delivery time. Sod express never reached out to let us know what was going on. When we reached out the them the list of excuses started to flow... driver needed 2 new tires, I dont know where hes at, not sure how long its going to be....blah blah blah. We suggested that maybe they should have replaced those tires last week since they were not able to get sod wed, thurs or friday. Their employees are not punctual, inexperienced and take no pride in what they do. The first day of delivery their forklift driver broke a pipe on our jobsite and when a phone call was made to sod express they said " well he is new" Even the staff in the office show up late and no one seems to know, or care, what is going on. I cancelled my sod with them for next week and if I could cancel the 10 pallets I'm waiting on for today I would. I did give them 2 stars cause the grass does look good. but everything else about them really does suck :(

Purchased 16 sheets of sod this afternoon from this location. I was told to pay (before ever seeing it!!!) and drive around back to load it. I didn’t get out of my car since the ground was muddy but when I got home and looked at the grass - THE QUALITY IS AWFUL. It’s all dead already and after going through all the work we did to prepare our lawn, there is no way I’m ruining it by installing this sod. I am returning it tomorrow, DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANY SOD/TURF!!!!
