I really like the doctor however both times I have came in for an appointment I am sitting and waiting for over 30 minutes to be seen. It feels like they overbook themselves and have too many patients to see within a certain amount of time. My eye exam took roughly 5 minutes.

Just gave up o getting my glasses here as initially the front desk and sales girl had a hard time pulling up my insurance ..So I picked out glasses, got measurements and I said I would pay over the phone in a couple,of days once she had figured it out…I called back myself after 5 days of hearing nothing , to find my sales lady was sent to work at another store and not in that day,so just to call back.. When I did a couple more days later , she gave me the price but apologized but needed my measurements again..so, on my next day off I head back there ,only to find she is on vacation.. Another person tried to help me but the wrong glasses style were listed, she had 2 down the same frame? Basically a total waste of my time, and energy .. just glad I didn’t waste any money by them ordering wrong stuff, I had a lucky escape. It seems… . Will not be going back there….

I got there when they opened this morning, Jenn the lady who helped me with my glasses was very knowledgeable and that put at ease. She was very thorough. I recommend that store in sarasota highley for my experience anyway

This place is not the best, Please go to a Specialist. The optometrist (blond hair lady) messed up my vision. They cared only about taking your insurance get their max pay and they dont care about a follow up. I don't write many reviews about places, but this place definitely is not professional, they don't have the right professionals, and I only needed glasses to read. I choose them because I didn't have a complex issue since my eye exam always was the same I thought it will be fine. She prescribed something different and now I am paying the consequences. Please it may take longer to make an appt with a True specialist, but your vision will be in good hands. Dont waste your time here and I hope and praying that they hire someone better, nothing personal but this is about our "eyes" a valuable gift that you can't screw around. Taking your child for a comprehensive eye exam at an early age and maintaining the recommended eye care schedule as they grow is the best way to ensure your child's vision develops correctly. Visual skills support optimal learning and full participation in school and all other activities. Our pediatric eye care services include child-friendly and age-appropriate exams to check visual acuity, eye tracking, focusing skills, and problems such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, lazy eye (amblyopia), crossed eyes, dyslexia, color blindness, disease, or medical conditions. Depending upon our findings, we’ll discuss what’s right for your child and prescribe eyeglasses, vision therapy, or additional procedures as needed.
It’s essential to remember to bring your current eyeglasses or contact lenses prescription to your visit. If you also wear reading glasses, computer glasses, protective eyewear, or other visual aids, you may want to bring these as well. Because getting your pupils dilated can leave you sensitive to light for several hours following your appointment, it’s wise to bring sunglasses to the appointment.
While it’s always a good idea to have an annual eye exam, how often an eye exam is needed depends on several factors. A patient’s age, family and personal medical histories, a previous eye injury, existing eye conditions, and environmental or occupational factors determine the recommended frequency. The American Optometric Association offers specific guidelines for both children and adults. As your trusted partner in care, our office will discuss the most appropriate schedule to protect the health of your eyes and the quality of your vision.
Dr Stupp or Dr Stoneburner are both great They are optometrists not opthalmologists.
