I lived at The Pointe for 2 years in both 3 and 2 bed units. Both units were furnished with appliances, washer/dryer, and furniture for the living room and bedroom. Overall, I had a great experience here. The all inclusive rent really sealed the deal for me, as all utilities are included in the rent price. My roommate match was great too but your milage may vary on this. I had no issues with the landlord and the only real complaint is maintenance speed, although it is a small team. Maintenance is quick in emergencies like a hot water heater that had gone out, but were slower on some semi-essential fixes like a broken arm on the couch or a fluorescent light that had gone out. Additionally, the complex is pretty loud, so if you are wanting a peaceful location be wary. Aside from these minor issues, The Pointe is a great place to live for students interested in living off-campus at SIUC.

I really enjoyed living at the pointe !!! my space was the best part and staff was always extremely nice and friendly at the clubhouse !!! so sad to be moving but grateful for my time here :)

My daughter is scheduled to move in Sunday and we have received disturbing reports from her roommate that moved in yesterday and had to leave because of the roaches and extreme heat from an ac unit not working. The tour of the model units …Thanks for letting us know about this. We would love to get more information about this situation! We haven’t heard about this issue so we will reach out to the residents on lease to get some more information. The room layout is the best part of this place, other than that the management isn’t the best, and maintenance couldn’t even fix a door. They advertise a hot tub even though theirs hasn’t worked at all since I’ve been …Thank you for your feedback! The jacuzzi is having an issue this season due to parts shortages but it has worked regularly in the past! Just have to turn on the timer located on the pool house. We aren't aware of any door issues on property currently so feel free to call the office to enter a maintenance request for the door you're having an issue with! We definitely want all issues repaired for our residents. Thanks again for your feedback. We love continuing to better ourselves and our property.
