We've been loyal customers for the last 10 yrs, but it seems like the business is just getting too big - we always just walked in (April or August) and were able to rent. Now, no walk-ins, payment processed with reservation in advance. They wont even help you if you are standing right in front of them - "just in case" another customer walks in. Staff levels way too low for how big they've become. Really dissappointing. Silver lining was we discovered BIG MOMMA'S BIKE RENTALS, they are AMAZING!. Walk-in, no problem, even if they are with another customer they acknowledge you and will do their best to make sure you leave happy. No question where we will be going next time.

For 7 years I was a loyal customer because the people working there were like family. Unfortunately they have been replaced by cold business people who purchased the business. Gone are the smiling faces who knew me by name and how I rode. It’s unfortunate the owner sold but then it’s always about money

After having high hopes, ultimately disappointed in the level of professionalism, courtesy and unethical business practice. I took in a Brompton for service. I was told the service would cost $80. When I picked it up a week later, three days beyond what they said it was going take, but that’s OK, I was charged $130. I asked what this extra was for and they said it was for extra service time and new handlebar grips that were required because the cables for the brakes and gears had to be reoriented… for some reason. I was confused but paid thinking they ought to know what they are taking about. I took the bike outside and tried to fold it - it is designed to be folded, that is the whole point of the bike. The cables were now in the way. The bike could not be folded. I took the bike back inside and they took a look and ultimately had to take the (new) grips off once more, put the cables back where they had came from so that the bike could again be folded. No mention of reimbursement of the unnecessary service cost and grips. I have reached out by telephone to discuss this with the service manager and by email several times and I’ve never had a response. In summary - nice people but overcharged for unnecessary work done and poor communication.

We wanted to rent ebikes for the day. We have rented from them before and have had a good experience. When we arrived i could tell it was going to be a problem. Tom asked if we had reservations; which we did not, and have not in the past. The shop had plenty of bikes available. He clearly was not happy we were there and had no intention of renting them to us. His attitude was horrible and he just didnt care. Very infuriating. although
