Anchorage Public Library (Mountain View Library)

The free wifi will support video conferencing however at this time all of our buildings remain closed so that wifi is only available outside outside from our parking lots. Under normal times our Chugiak-Eagle River library has study rooms, however Mountain View does not have regularly available space for that use. Hi Beverly- Our buildings are currently closed but you can absolutely still check out movies. You can use our online hold system at www.anchoragelibrary.org to pick a movie and place it on hold. Once it's available you can make a curbside appointment or come to our front door during open hours for pickup. You can also give us a call and we'll help you find something great to watch.

Hi Dominique- EDIT While the library was open for partial service in July. It is currently closed for in building service. You can still pick up items on hold, use the wifi outside, print from our own device and get librarian help by phone. Please visit https://bit.ly/APLSafeReopen for all the latest information.

You do not need a card to print. You’ll just need a guest pass to access a computer. Printing is .20 per page B/W and $1 for color.

Usually if your library card is in good standing, you can check out a laptop or I-pad to use within the library
