Short answer: 10% for the bail fee (non-refundable, with a minimum of $50.00) and the underwriting company currently requires 50% for collateral. If you would like to know more or get a proper quote please call our office and speak to a bail agent, she will be happy to assist you.

We need more information. What is the $5,000.00 set as? Types of bail: Cash only, Cash Performance, Cash Appearance, Cash Corporate, Unsecured. Our office does not deal with the ankle monitoring portion of bails, you would need to call the company that was assigned: PED (Pretrial Enforcement Division), Alaska Pretrial, Alaska Defendant Monitoring, Pioneer Peak and ask them what the monitoring requirements are.

No unfortunately we cannot. No bail amount is required on an unsecured bail. The defendant needs to sign a promissory note with the jail, the jail will then notify the PED company and said defendant will be put on a list for release. When and if PED has all the required information they need from the defendant, he or she will be released from custody.

Unfortunately we cannot assist you or anyone else with a "Cash Only" bail. We are only allowed to post bonds on "Cash Corporate". If you are unable to pay that amount contact the defendants attorney and ask for a new bail hearing to change the bail from cash to cash corporate.
