Arvada Harvest Festival & Parade

I have been in Arvada 54 yrs. The Harvest Festival and Parade was always a highlight of the community. The parade was 2nd to St Patrick's Day. Now we may as well call it a review of politics and food court. I have been told the entry fees have become so very high that locals cannot afford to participate. Every year for the last five has become less and less. This year was a disgrace. Very small parade and very few vendors. Only political and big business advertising. Bring back the community. Lower the fees so the people of Arvada and Jeffco can participate. We the people of Arvada used to love this event. Many many are so very disappointed with what has happened to it due to greed.

Great family event!! Tons of vendors, activities for kids, food/drinks, band, movie night in the park, and much more!! Well laid out and easy to find parking.
