Convenient location with many medical offices and testing available. Very friendly staff and volunteers. Lots of parking nearby and easily available. Easy to drop off patients at the door

This hospital has become nothing but a glorified urgent care. A woman went to the ER today to have her leg checked. They did an X-ray and sent her back to the waiting room. About 45 minutes later they came out to the waiting room with discharge papers. She told them she hasn’t even seen a doctor yet. They took her back to the nurses station (not in a room but out in public) and proceeded to explain her chart and findings in front of everyone (so HIPA was completely violated to anyone who wanted to listen). They then told her they could not schedule an MRI to check for any tears through the ER and that she would have to have her PCP schedule it for her. They then sent her on her way in complete pain and said they could do nothing else for her. If I could give them negative stars I would. Ballad- my main question to you is why keep a hospital around if they cannot treat their patients?? All of this should be completely against your procedures. I ask for our whole community that you make this hospital back to what it used to be.

Appt was scheduled for 1230. Got here at 1220, upstairs by 1230. Procedure prep complete by 1300. It is now 1447 and still not in procedure room…. Communication from nurses is nil. No updates , nothing. Poked my head out, oh yeah your next, your procedure appt was at 1400. WTH this hospital, their schedulers and staff are a joke. Why was I told to be here at 1230 for a 1400 appt that they can’t even keep.

Worst place ever and needs to be shut down. I'm a vet and have a heart condition that we are still trying to manage. Two times I've been in the ER with cardiac issues and it wasn't a priority for them. First time I thought I was having a heart attack and told the nurse 3x as such, took them 30 minutes to triage me. Huge complaint later they told me they would fix it. Tonight, issues again, just left me in the waiting room. I finally left to an urgent care, I think my chances are better. If I live, I'm going to the state medical board. It's clear, in my opinion, this hospital feels that what the VA pays them isn't enough, and they're ok with veterans expiring in the ER waiting room. Just have someone pull you out of the lobby when you suffer the cardiac arrest, please.
