Super helpful ASA101 sessions. Captain DJ do sail racing a lot, so you can pick up a lot good practices while you are learning. She will also break down and explain the steps very clearly for you follow. Highly recommended to take ASA101 here! I also see her spending extra efforts to help the people with language difficulties or people need more practice.

I need some sailing refreshing after sailing very little for many years. And my friends who will be my crew need exposure to sailing as neither of them have sailed at all. Capt DJ is wonderful! She obviously enjoys both sailing and teaching. She is a wonderful communicator, both while teaching and in making arrangements to set up time with U-SAIL. All three of us learned a great deal and really would have loved to have spent the rest of the day on the water with her. Each of us is more confident with our ability to handle the "high seas." I HIGHLY recommend sailing with and learning from Capt DJ. Also, her boat club is a very enticing deal.

I come from a boating background, but had not had much exposure to sailing. I feel very fortunate that Capt. DJ was one of the nearby options when I started looking for instruction, as I've rarely experienced the level of expertise and professionalism I did during my ASA101 course with her and Capt. Willie. Everything was covered in depth, thoroughly and with safety in mind. I had a tough time finding days that worked on my calendar where the conditions were conducive to sailing for a beginner, but Capt. DJ was very helpful in making it happen. And Capt. Willie was very enjoyable to learn from on the water. My experience was above and beyond my expectations, and I look forward to learning more from both of them. I highly recommend U-Sail of Central Florida and look forward to practice what I've learned with the boat club and continuing my education with the next set of courses!

They have the basic ASA101 which will teach you how to sail from scratch. From theory to practical, it's a good course tough by experienced sailors.
