Staybridge Suites Dearborn MI, an IHG Hotel

The hotel is pretty modern and very clean! Our suite was fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The young lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful in giving us information and suggestions for dinner. The website stated that both the pool and spa were out of commission, but both were in working order and clean. We didn't use the laundry room, however, it was also clean and had newer machines. The outdoor patio was very pleasant to sit and enjoy the evening. There are grills on the patio for guests to use to prepare dinner. We were on a short one night stay, so we went out, but would definitely take advantage of the many amenities if we were staying longer.

I reserved a 2 queen bed suite so that 3 adults could sleep comfortably. Even though I had my reservation showing a 2 queen bed suite they still gave me a 1 king bed suite and said that was all they had. They obviously gave my room away. After finally getting a room with a king bed a pull out couch the room smelled dirty, the cable box was not plugged in, bathroom door didn't shut right, stains on sheets and the front door to our room had a loose hinge in which you had to lift up on the door to latch and lock it. The pull out sofa was terribly uncomfortable, which made my bad back worse and made my overall weekend plans bad. I use IHG hotels for work all the time and have never received this poor of service. I requested to be credited for this room in some way and still have not received an apology or compensation from IHG. Very disappointing and I'm considering switch to Marriot hotels for future travel.

I stayed here 2 weeks ago, and I have absolutely no complaints. Management and customer service were amazing. They made sure we felt comfortable and helped with everything we needed. The hotel and rooms were very clean and had lots of space.

We have stayed in the same suite $300 room,here a few times now. It has gotten worse. There is one shabby cart to bring luggage in. No trash can in room. The table that used to be in the room is gone. No warm water in showers...big problem! Huge Stains in 2 places in living room area. Remotes do not work for some of the t.v's. And a few other problems. Used to be a really nice stay. Not anymore, not for that price!
