glad I met David Wolfe to get help understanding the different Medicare options since moving to Florida Medicare has all kinds of rules and options and changes year to year. It's VERY confusing It only makes sense to find an experienced Medicare broker who represents multiple insurance companies - so you know you are hearing about all the great options - not just plans from one insurance company - Don’t go it alone - call David Wolfe

I am very glad I was referred to David Wolfe TheMedicareAgent.US - he was incredibly helpful getting me set up with a new Medicare plan since I moved to Florida. Medicare has many plans and understanding it all can be VERY confusing. Get the help of an Independent Medicare broker - like David Wolfe to guide you through it. ....AND there's no cost to you!! -Matthew R

Original Medicare (also known as “Basic”) includes Part A (hospital coverage) and Part B which is outpatient care coverage. There is no premium payment necessary for Part A if you have (at minimum) a 10-year work history contributing to Medicare through payroll or self-employment taxes. In 2021 the standard premium for Part B is $148.50 - although those with higher income may pay more through monthly adjustments.

The 6-month period that begins on the first day of the month that you’ll be turning 65 and enrolled in Part B - is the best time to buy a Medigap policy. So let’s say you’ll be turning 65 in August of this year. Then the best time for you to buy a Medigap policy would be from August to November of this year.

I continue to have medical coverage from a former employer’s group health plan even though Im retired. So who pays my medical bills - my former employer or Medicare?

If you’re retired and have both Medicare and coverage from a former employer (retiree coverage), generally Medicare will pay first, and your former employer will pay second.
