I can't say enough about Truewood. This place is first class through and through! The staff from the top is the best of the best! I have both of my parents at this facility, and any issues or questions I have are immediately addressed. They are thorough and compassionate. I want to do a special shout out to Amy, Shannon, and Melissa for all they do, as they are truly people oriented. Thank god for people like this! My mom and dad are in great hands, and I appreciate it!

My parents arrived at Truewood by Merrill, Bradenton Florida on Dec 23, 2021. It was a difficult decision as a family, especially considering the approaching holiday. They are 90 and 84. But Truewood actually made the move easy for our family. From my first inquiry with their sales manager to the present, everything about this place has impressed us. From the highest level executive director and department managers, to the entry level workers, everyone has shown my parents (and me!) incredible kindness. Their rooms are immaculate and cleaned daily. The common areas are pleasantly maintained. Their executive chef prepares delicious and nutritious meals, even as a full kitchen update is currently taking place. That’s not easy to do. At every opportunity, special events are celebrated for the residents with a festive flair. Most importantly, my parent’s nursing and P.A. care is excellent. They offer various levels of nursing care (if needed) and will help assess what the resident needs, including advanced memory care if that time comes. I honestly can’t imagine them living anywhere else. The place is only a few miles from my home, but I would drive a lot further if I had to - just to keep them there. Truewood is now family to us.
