Nice little park. Parking is mostly for boaters (regular cars can get ticket for parking in boater's spaces), but there's a section just for cars. Restroom also available. There's a trail for walking or running. Great place just to watch sunset.

There's no cost to park, but you should know that most of the parking there is primarily for boat owners to park vehicles with boat trailers after they use the boat ramp! The lot is patrolled regularly by Sarasota police cruisers, so you may be moved on if you are not actively using the park and/ or boat ramp.
There is no charge to park as long as you're in the parking spots designated for vehicles without boat trailers as the north side lot is primarily parking for the boat ramp. I've seen a couple of camper vans who looked like they had been there over night, but I'm sure the city will have issues if it becomes a boondocks site. There are a few homeless guys usually sleeping near the water pretending to be fishing.
