You better hope that you never have a complaint about anything in your unit because it WILL get completely ignored. I’ve submitted a few maintenance requests and the maintenance team has submitted a few on my behalf after I filled out the initial condition form, and only the issue that was well on its way to flooding my kitchen has gotten fixed. The others go ignored for about a month, and then get closed after they don’t do anything. Complaints about noise or administration follow the same avenues, which leads me to believe my noise complaints will get the same treatment. I feel like I’m throwing all my rent and anything I have to say into a volcano living here.

This place is awesome. The staff are actually some of the most hard working and incredibly sweet people ever. Right now they're going through some heavy changes and have alot on their plate but even considering that they helped me out so much, made my life easier, saved me a ton of time, and reduced my stress about moving. They are super friendly, will accommodate you, and answered every question I had. Shout out to Thea and Chrystal specifically. I actually cant thank yall enough ❤

I recently moved in, and this has been my experience thus far. The unit is aesthetically beautiful, and I enjoy the convenience of the attached garage, and W/D in unit. However, the online application process was painstaking to say the least. They do not have good communication with their compliance department, so the screening took longer than usual. They also had us sign the lease 3 separate times, due to the office literally forgetting we were moving in until they realized last minute that our move-in was scheduled for a holiday (Juneteenth), and a clerical error (Almost forgetting to add the deposit we paid). These kinds of mistakes concerned me but they did catch it and corrected it. However, as a result of everything being done last minute, they did not have our copies of the keys ready when we moved in. As I write this, I am still waiting for the copies of the mail key. They did resort to lending us the original copy, which we appreciate because we need access to our mail. I recommend that new tenants fog the unit prior to moving in, because we swept away roaches, ants, and spiders after we fogged. On the bright side, they appeared mostly in the attached garage, and storage closet but still close to home. Also, make SURE you do your walk-thru very carefully. We kept having issues with our appliances after. We had standing water and mold in the dishwasher because it was not drained in a while. The stove drip bowls were missing and took days after our move to replace. Microwave doesn't rotate the tray due to a missing part. The garbage disposal was not switching on. The leasing office have told us they are working to hire more people. They seem to have only one maintenance person working through requests for the time being but after interacting with him recently, he does work hard to service hundreds of units. He makes honest mistakes, but I have found him to be an otherwise pleasant and honest worker. He fixed my appliances, and advised me on how to best clean out the dishwasher and now it works fine. The garbage disposal wasn't plugged all the way in, which I would have never known since it's not my expertise. I am hoping that things improve over time as this is now my home for the time being. - Update as of 6/29/22: I am replying to the response from the owner. I made multiple phone calls, and sent an email to one of your leasing agents. She provided me with a Vista Ridge email address where I can email my concerns to the property as a whole, which I appreciate. I will email them my concerns as I was unable to reach you at the # you provided. - Update 7/28/22: Water leaks all around the property this past week, and my service request as of a month later has not been touched at all. I’ve asked about it several times, tried to contact Jim but the number he posts here isn’t his direct line. You only talk to him if he calls back. 😑 Also - I STILL don’t have all my mail key copies, the excuse this time is that their machine broke. So I assume this affects everyone else that lives here. Mail box was supposed to have been re-keyed WEEKS ago. It’s been one thing after another. They don’t have their stuff together at all! I REGRET moving here so much.
