That's great, they produce some of the finest instruments on the planet, also tribute series are fantastic. But you can write direct them and they'll support you with G&L knowledge. I've ordered locking tuners and saddle set unobtainable in Italy, they shipped and received in 4 days. Not everyone has a service like this.

G&L is the best both in products and in people. Their guitars are "custom shop" feel (because, well, they are) and blow away the competition even disregarding the price point. As for service, Memo and the service team are some of the kindest, most responsive, and professional people you can deal with. They made dealing with them and getting replacement parts for my USA ASAT beyond easy. Love these guys and will proudly support them today and in the future.

I owned a G&L Natural Strat Ash body f-100 in 1982, and Red Poplar Strat-ish HG-2 in 1984. I like Rosewood now, but both had Maple fretboards. My ASAT Tribute Deluxe with 12" radius fretboard (Indonesian made) has superior craftsmanship. Don't be afraid to buy the Tribute series. They're still G&L designed, and half the price, but my next ASAT will likely be a Fullerton California Custom ASAT, with G&L option ordering advantages. CLF innovations in early 1980's were impressive, but options available now will satisfy any player. All G&L guitars are unusually playable, and CLF Research created top hardware and sound quality. I like Hamer and Gibson for dirt and grit, but G&L's are bright, clean and have an edgy sort of bite. A unique sound, with good sustain. G&L's all have superior bridges, tuners, necks, fretboards, pickups, and electronics. George and Leo knew what they were doing when they went back and re-designed their Fender product line. When people ask me what kind of a guitar I play, I always proudly say a G&L. The real Fender.
