Beware. Just the facts. No opinions here. Form your own opinion…. Upon checking in, only one of the two elevators was functioning. Upon getting in the apparent functioning elevator, I noticed that it, in fact, was malfunctioning. Upon getting to my floor (3rd floor), the doors opened but the elevator about 6” above the level of the actual floor. As I was about to step out, the elevator suddenly dropped to 6” below the actual floor. To call this terrifying would be an understatement. By the end of the day, both elevators were out of service and remained out of service for the entirety of my stay. My room was on the 3rd floor. (See photos) Upon entering my room I noted crumbs from what appeared to be cookies or crackers on the sofa. While placing my bags down I noted something scurry past. I quickly looked behind the sofa but didn’t see anything. What I did see, however, was a mouse trap. (See photo) Upon taking a shower, I noted red mold on the walls and black and red mold along the inside of the shower. (See photos) When I went to dry myself off I discovered that the towels had balls of hair on them that ended up stuck to my face and mouth. (See photo) Needless to say, my experience warrants a visit from more than just the health department. I did not stay until the end of my booking and left early. An email to management (with photos) yielded no response. Once again, form your own opinion.

When we first arrived, there was a barking dog two doors down. When I went to shower, there was long dark hairs still in the tub. There was not a working fire alarm in the room. The elevators were scary... they wouldn't go to the correct floors and it would bounce up and down. They eventually had to close the elevator down so guests had to take the stairs. As we were walking down the stairs, I had a fall and fell down some of the steps and rolled an ankle and hurt my lower back. Never in my life have I had such a poor stay in this chain of hotels. Worst stay ever.

The hotel was clean and the room was very well made as well. The lighting , the cooling and the beds were comfortable and nothing more to ask for. The Breakfast, although continental had a good spread, with enough and more options. Kudos to the Catering Team that kept refilling the the food as soon as it was needed. A special mention of the Manager at the Front desk, who helped us and guided us to the places of interest to be visited / seen in New Hampshire and Boston.

Stayed here four times this year, mainly due to it's location. I will not be returning. Three out my four visits, the rooms were not clean. Breakfast consists of freezer burned sausage and microwaved eggs. That's when food is available. It is seldom replenished and cold. Pancake maker was only working 1 out of 4 visits. Juice machine not working on my last visit. They should check the fridge also. The dairy items were not cold. Not good, not safe. I stayed at a IHG Holiday Inn two days ago. Difference between that hotel and this hotel is night and day. Not going to knock IHG Hotels for this one. This is a local management issue. Clean up your act Holiday Inn Lawrence.

Yes.. but the rooms are not all that great
You can always compare prices. I think it was really worth it
