FREE on weekdays before Memorial day. Today was a beautiful day to take a walk around the lake and over the dam.

Looking forward to the warmer weather so we can spend more time enjoying this beautiful park.

Beautiful state park, especially in fall season. Many trails. You can go boating, swimming, biking when the weather is good. They also have many picnic area and tables. Good for family outing.

I love this place! It allows me to enjoy the beautiful weather and atmosphere on a summer day. Bring the family for a day of relaxing in a quiet place. Plenty of shade and things to do.

Yes. There's a boat load in doc by the upper beach and there's a good place to put in kayaks by baypath on the southern side off of rot 85.
Dogs are allowed. I have a lot of people getting their dogs inside the park.
i don't know why when i went i had to pay 8 dollars but who's not from MA pays a little more
I was just there a few days ago the restrooms are open
$8 for Massachusetts plates and $15 for out of state
Dogs are allowed, provided they're on a leash. Dinosaurs require proof of non-genetic tampering from the Jurassic Licensing Bureau AND a leash.
no rent, you can take any available.
No U don't need a pass
You dont need a reservation... Its a state park
The park closes at 8PM...
MA state license plate $8, out of state is higher ( approximately $30)
You can go to the boat area, which is near the upper beach and, yes, you can set up there. They have benches and barbeques. Bathroom facilities are open, I believe. It was packed last weekend. The whole park is not open yet but will be on memorial day weekend.
I think around $12 for the parking fee.
Go to the Police station, special if it has the name on it!
Yes, they are allowed on the east side of the lake. The bigger side. But on the west side, only allowed on the swimming area. Enjoy the place. it is so relaxing!!!
Fishing is allowed. No rods on rent. I am not sure if there is a strict catch and release policy though. All the people I have seen have caught and released.
Yes
Yes you can park close to the water right near you check in to go kayaking/paddleboarding. Right in front of the parking is the water, and if you take a right you can walk to the area more meant for swimming
Yes you can get your kayaks too.
There is an area where ppl swim and sun bathe on the beach and a separate area in deeper water to rent paddle boats and canoes
If you're in a kayak, it's on the shore, at the point where the father island is closest to the edge of the water. Not sure how to get to it on foot
National Senior Passes available at National Parks. Not usually at State Parks. There is a State park pass for seniors that many state sell.
Dogs are allowed but I am not sure about the size. I saw dogs of various sizes when I went there though.
Hi James, I think the GPS takes you to that gate which is closed. At least it has been every time I've been there. However if you take that right turn there you will come to another parking lot that also connects to the path. It's where the fishermen go and I believe there is a little boat house. You can park there and follow the path to your left to get back to the main beach and that wonderful big aquaduct like hill. Being after Memorial Day you would think they would open that darn gate soon right. Let's hope.
I dont believe it is. I think it's illegal to hunt in any Mass state forest without explicit permission. I would report it
Yes. In winter they don't always plow. They'll be open tomorrow
no you can't. the reservoir is off limits to motorized crafts of any kind wwith the exception of electric trolling motors.
When you are over 60 and have a Sr Pass - see above. Pedestrian access is unrestricted— MBTA rail station is nearby.
Thanks, so Holiday is the same as any other day?
Unfortunately, I can't give you an amount because the company paid for them in advance and I did not see any posted price listing. Am sorry I couldn't help.
I brought drinks in a pitcher and the ranger came to my table while i was drinking and spoke to me and didnt bother me anymore after that. Good place to take the family and cook....
15 per hour, no place for clothing and shoes
Daily parking fee charged Memorial Day weekend through October 31 MA resident $8 Non-MA resident $15
Camping does not leave, because they close at 7 at night.
I'm quite sure they are, however there's a number you can call and they'll give you a better answer.
