What a great place to hike & see a slice of history. Definitely recommend the clockwise route & be sure to bring your mosquito spray!!

Took a nice hike here today. Didn't realize there is a distillery on the same road. I didn't go but I'd recommend checking it out, if you are there anyway. I was alone and driving. Some areas of the blue trail were slick but I was also wearing sneakers not boots. Worth the drive.

I actually got lost here and had to be rescued! The trails here are NOT marked very well at all and due to ATV making additional trails it was very easy to go the wrong way and end up lost! I also fell going down a slick leaf covered rock …

Beautiful and interesting spot with a variety of hiking/walking terrain. The entire trail is a loop (a personal preference when hiking) but if you're looking for a wide flat trail you could stick to the first section below the mine …
