The people here are so kind and super willing to help fellow service members out, that it's honestly super heart warming. They will try their best to help you get where you need to go, give you the food that you want, and give you all the entertainment that you need. Walking distance is not that far either. 10/10 place, def hit it up even if it's just to eat a quick burger.

If you are a military retiree, on a space basis. This is off the website for the Bob Hope USO's. "Although we honor all who have served, we cannot serve all and ask that non-retiree veterans honor our mission, which since our founding in 1941, has been to serve current troops and their dependent family members". That being said, the group at the Palm Springs USO are a great bunch. If you have a veteran card, you could stop by and say hi, if they are not busy they probably wouldn't mind you grabbing a cup of coffee. Many volunteers are veterans themselves or spouses of veterans.
No the USO is for Active Duty and retired military personnel
You will need to apply and there are minimum 8 hour requirements per month. The shifts are 4 hour increments. You can apply online.
