As soon as they turned the car on they knew it wouldn't pass because the check engine light was on. I didn't know this. They tested it anyway and charged me. I asked why it didn't pass the girl said "if the light is on it won't pass no matter what even if the emissions part is fine" Never, ever going there again.

Don't know what the insurance office does besides insurance. Have smogged several vehicles at PS smog, and they've never offered to do the DMV paperwork or filing or payment-processing for me.

They were amoung the lowest priced who I called. They were ready when I arrived and I was in and out within 20 mins. I highly recommend PS smog.
No appointment but I would recommend having the renewal form handy as they can scan that and go direct to dmv
