Was a member of this parish my entire life. I have received communion, confirmation, volunteered mornings for religion classes, and attended 5:30 Mass for years. Very Recently moved out of State but called to ask for a letter of sponsorship to be a Godparent but was denied since the priest didn’t know me personally. Was told to find a new parish where I live. Incredibly hurtful.

Mass scheduled at 5:30 on Saturday evening is a Sunday mass. If it was an earlier mass, then probably not, but speak to the priest.
