No response has beeny experience multiple times. My advice to you if you actually want to be safe in this city. Get a gun so you can protect your family and your home. Look at the crim rates. They know where to go . This city has deteriorated over the last 10 years. The level of lack of any type of police presence, or assistance is inexcusable.

I have unfortunately dealt with many different police departments in my life. Never have I left a review for any of them until now. From my personal experience with the Tracy PD over several years, they should be the standard that every PD strives to emulate. The officers are extremely attentive, knowledgeable and communicative. They somehow are able to calmly translate the law into lame man’s terms and actually make sense while doing so. But the main reason I write this is because of the Ladies who operate the phone systems. They are hands down the most caring, compassionate, friendly, understandable but yet professional people that I have ever had the pleasure of speaking with. Especially during some of the most difficult times in my life in which every little bit of kindness goes a long, long, long way. They are a breath of fresh air or sunshine on some of the otherwise horribly cloudy darkest days of my life. I think that they are the first step in diffusing a bad situation therefore making the officers job much easier. In my personal opinion, they are the backbone of a well oiled machine. Props to you all! Keep up the good work TPD
