Not a bad location. Mexican restaurant next door. Room was clean - beds & pillows really comfy. Although the bed was super squeaky - it would have been annoying to anyone next to our room or below. Oh and we had a big ole spider in our room in the morning. Not sure where that came from?!? Breakfast- good - both hot & cold items. If you use the stairs instead of the elevator- Stairwell - painted & carpeted but, was in dire need of a good cleaning & vacuuming. Pool was small & nice - no hot tub.

The shower curtain rod was sagging so badly that the shower curtain would not stay closed; it quickly settled at the center of the rod. The rod was installed improperly, but it's a very simple fix; I can't believe that the hotel hasn't taken the time to fix it. The A/C snuffed it in the middle of the night; it was stuffy, warm, and humid by about 2:00 am. The facia of the vanity had been broken at some time in the past, and there was a huge hole in it. I can't believe that a Hampton Inn wouldn't take the time to fix it. Lighting in the room was very poor. It was very dark. Whenever a hotel room is that dark, it makes me wonder what they don't want me to see. The toilet seat was loose and slid around. My wife nearly fell off the toilet when the seat moved. This hotel does NOT have sufficient parking for its guests, especially when semi trucks take up 12 spaces each. I wanted to mention all of these to the hotel staff personally, but they'd all scarpered when I came to the desk to check out. I am requesting a refund of $60. That will bring the price of the room down to its fair price of $49.99 (before tax). I can't believe that I paid $129.08 for a room that looked as though it belonged in a $49.99 roadside motel. This is not up to the quality that I'm accustomed to seeing in a Hampton Inn.

Housekeeping made a very random stop to our room at 7pm. There was no warning! Room was clean, air quality was good. Breakfast bar was okay. Sausage odd looking and overcooked. The waffle area was a mess. The desk worker was nice and worked a very long shift... at least 6pm until 8am. The pool was open and so was the fitness center.

Nice environment. Good breakfast policy. Some of the staff are friendly, a number are not. The woman handling breakfast is quite friendly, let her keep it up. The front desk should have more friendly staff. The cleaning staff come across as people not happy with their job. They are not friendly, they should be made to realize that this is hospitality business. you need to be friendly to your guests. This i believe is the reason they do not make attempts to clean occupied rooms.
