I give Rooter Shield 5 stars!!! Because I was having a party and my whole house started backing up. So I called Rooter Shield late and they responded quick and came out within the hour and opened our sewer line. And I was able to keep the party running. Thank you Rooter Shield life saver!!!

I hired Rooter Shield to install an on-demand tankless water heater. Their team arrived on-time as promised and the work was incredible. Tidy, neat soldering, accurate, level placement. Wonderful outcome. Clean worksite. Thank you!

Put simply and unbiasedly, it just depends on the severity of the plumbing issue. While some issues can be fixed through a simple Youtube video, there are instances where it is definitely a wise decision to contact us here at Rooter Shield. Plumbers take care of the work for you and get right down to the root of the problem.
If roots are clearly damaging your pipes and/or causing minor leaks, the optimal solution would be to contact a plumber. Plumbers typically use a special method known as hydro-jetting to clear out any roots that may be blocking the pipes.
Plumbing maintenance can become a necessity for multiple reasons. If you continuously have plumbing issues after attempting DIY remedies, it is probably the time to call a professional. Another reason may be that the pipes are just too old and have started to wear down, leaving you no choice but to replace them.
Water bills can be shocking, especially when you are mindful of the amount of water used. If you notice your bill being unusually high with the same water consumption, there may be an undetected leak somewhere in the plumbing system. This is where a plumbing inspection/diagnosis will be the most useful.
The ideal method of unclogging a toilet is by using a plunger to break up the clog through suction. If this does not work, the next step would be to use a combination of both hot water and soap to break up any debris that is causing the blockage. If neither of those work, we advise contacting a plumber to come in and snake the pipe that leads down to the sewer drain.
