Kniesels of Rocklin did an amazing job at finishing my car correctly and promptly. Communication was great and friendly. I didn’t feel any intentions of mistreatment or skipping steps in the process of repairing my car. I had a unique situation about the timeline of my repairs and Kniesels was able to complete the car in time. They quoted me a date and was able to fulfill what they quoted me. Hopefully I’ll never have to use them again because that would mean I got into another accident, but if I did need them. I would go to them again.

How do I get a rental vehicle?

We have rental cars onsite (at some of our locations) to make the process as fast and easy as possible. Our team will happily set up a reservation for you. Check with your insurance carrier to ensure you have rental car coverage on your auto policy. Please contact the Kniesel’s nearest you for details.

Does the shop receive payment from my insurance company, or do I pay for repairs?

Kniesel’s Collision will work with your insurance company for payment. You are only responsible for the deductible (if you have one) and/or any betterment, if applicable.

Do I have the right to select the body shop that will repair my car?

Yes. You can choose Kniesel’s regardless of whether it is on your insurance provider’s preferred list. Just drop your vehicle off at Kniesel’s and notify your insurance company. We work with all insurance carriers and can help facilitate communications with your provider.

Do I need to pay anything when I drop off my car?

No. After the repair work is complete, you pay us only your insurance deductible (if you have one). If you have already received a payment from the insurance company, we will work with you to determine what needs to be paid to Kniesel’s.

Occasionally, once the repair process has begun, unforeseen conditions may arise that require additional parts or time. What should I do after an accident?

If anyone is injured, call 911 immediately. If no one is hurt, gather the following information for each of the parties involved in the accident: name, driver's license number, vehicle license plate, and insurance information. If there are any witnesses, gather their names and phone numbers. Note the time, date, and location of the accident. Use your smartphone to photograph the accident scene and the damage to the vehicles. Contact your insurance company. Their claims information should be provided on the back of your insurance i.d. card. Notify the Police: If anyone involved in the accident will not provide, or does not have, a driver license or insurance, contact the police and your insurance company immediately.
