You could get away without one, but we usually bring some. The seats are a comfortable shape, but still hard plastic.
Their season is during the summer. The stage is usually set for the current production or used for rehearsals for the next. Contact them as it might have a short term access available.

There is plenty of parking in the park easy walking distance to the box office and entrance.
