St. George is a real hidden gem. There's a variety of liquors to taste, leaving something for everyone. I especially enjoyed the coffee flavored liquor. It reminded me of cafe du monde and having coffee with condensed milk in the absolute best way.

Historic old military base location with a modern distillery repurposing an old building. Nice view across the bay of the San Francisco skyline from the parking lot. Paid tasting of some exceptional spirits inside, and a full selection of their products for purchase. There were 3 of us and the tasting included 6 tastes each - they had 15 spirits available to taste, so we lined up all 15 to share and then selected 3 more samples to revisit - that worked out great! Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The absinthe is top notch if you're a fan, which many are. We had a great selection of 4 very different gins that pleased our gin lover. And the new winner of the day was the green chili vodka - what a great nose! Well worth the visit!

Ok- I got a reply: The best bet is a retailer called the Oak Barrel on Elizabeth Street or online at the Ginporium website (although when I just looked they only seem to have the Botanivore in stock.). We did offer gift certificates at one time, but we are not currently doing so as the distillery is closed for tours and tastings. If anything changes in that regard, we’ll update our website and send out a newsletter detailing our current offerings. In the meantime, you should be able to find our Raspberry Liqueur at Cask, Flatiron Wine, SF Wine Trading Co., or Total Wine—though we always recommend calling or checking current inventory online before making a special trip anywhere. Yeah, it's not intended for drinking by itself. Try it on ice cream, or splash a little bit in other drinks. It goes really well with gin and whiskey drinks.
