The breading was so thick on my prawns, not a good flavor. My husband's catfish had a bad tasting crust, not made to be on it. The coleslaw was great and the clam chowder was o.k.

Fish and chips is inheritantly oily by nature - everything is fried. At the Pelican Roost their food is very light - it is the least greasy fried fish, etc. That I have ever eaten. So tasty!

Last week, I went into the restaurant at 7:40 - 7-45 pm and was warmly greeted and my dinner was as wonderful as usual.
