If you can I'd suggest any other bank, since the only other option in town shut down they have become the worst bank I've ever had!

I believe they do. I just opened a checking account and it's free. Many Bank accounts are free if you're check is on auto deposit or if you maintain a certain balance. Those conditions didn't apply.
Maybe that someone somehow froze ur card by putting the pin# rwong too many times something like that
