Happy Acres Campground is Amazing.. I was very impressed on how well maintained this campground is. Very Clean the cabins are beautiful. Very family oriented. The Manager is amazing she tries her best to accommodate your every need. The owners are amazing as well and very caring. The bathrooms are spotless the campground is spotless as well as they work very hard to keep everyone happy. The views are absolutely beautiful. There is so much to do. I have never seen a campground that cares so much as everyone at Happy Acres. When I go I never want to leave. Everyone is so nice and very friendly. I found my happy place. They even drive around to make sure everyone is good and always have smiles on there faces as they wave. They deserve more then 5 stars. Cynthia Gindhart

Absolutely Amazing Food. The service is great. The Restaurant is under new management and it seems to be turning around very nicely.

My family recently rented the happy acres lodge at this resort. I just wanted to share that we had an excellent time! Also I was nervous after reading other reviews that there would be No cell connection (due to no service) and predownloaded a ton of movies on our devices for the kids only to find out our lodge did have WIFI! what an awesome surprise!! With wifi calling capabilities on our cell phones we didn't have to disconnect! This lodge had 4 bedrooms downstairs and 2 bedrooms upstairs with a game loft and 2 bathrooms. We will definitely be back in season when the pool is open (Happy acres lodge itself is right next to the pool) also right down the hill (not even half mile-easy walk from this cabin) is a bar/restaurant and game room for kids and the playground/basketball hoop is a small walk up the hill from this house (again not even a half mile) . Everyone was so kind to waving and smiling!! not to mention there is a state park/game lands with ample fishing less than a mile from the grounds (which is what brought us to the area to begin with) lots of access to great stocked water.

Two couples for 4 nights at Hill Top cabin in mid-October 2021. We really enjoyed our accommodations and stay. Beautiful place, good food at the restaurant, delicious ice cream (within walking distance is a plus), nice people and all was as promised. If you're light sensitive at night don't take the master bedroom (queen-size bed) because street light outside the bedroom light shines through the white blind. We left a suggestion they consider a black-out blind for just that room. We hope to go back with others, maybe to see the wild flowers blooming next spring!

Was one of the cleaning lady last year. The two post above me nailed on the head. You can rent bedding if you need it. And towels also.
I have verizon for personal and at&t for work and neither had reception in the cabins. We also couldn't get on wifi during our stay but it was fine because of the location and cabin. Awesome stay and will happily go back.
Yes they are!
4 o'clock but sometimes you can get in a little sooner depends if the cabin is cleaned and ready for your arrival
You'll have to call. Its reasonable. I always tent camp but thw urts were tempting. Dont forget your also paying for thw location, with any rental, its beautiful there & thwyre convenient & there is so mjch to do! I always stop by a cave when the trip is over. Penn's cavern is near there its the one that takes u through by boat...amazing!
I'm there all the time... The local tavern in Waterville has a Verizon box so if you have Verizon some spots you will.... Other then that.. Use wifi to message home like the rest of us lol... But trust me you won't need service... Go there and leave the phone behind and enjoy it... Take it all in... You won't even remember your phone.
My family and I went camping over the weekend of Game of Thrones' premiere episode in 2017. We were able to watch it. But I agree, the wifi is normally pretty spotty. I have a Verizon cell plan and I found that the cell coverage was also kind of hit and miss. LOVE this spot and I can't wait to be back there in July 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😁
We just stayed in it last night.. this was our 3rd time there. It's over 200 for the night on a weekend now. But at this time I wouldn't recommend staying in it if you want to fill up the hot tub with hot water.. leaking hot water tank. Allows you 2 inches of h20 at a time. Every 15..20 min. When brought to their attention we received a " sucks to be you" kind of treatment. We will not be returning again , we have no problem paying for accommodations that we want to enjoy but the lack of customer care and concern was lacking. And we left regretting our stay. Unfortunately. The manager was very accommodating late in the evening when we had forgotten towels and the food at the restaurant was excellent, but that's all I have positive to say about our stay.. other than how beautiful the area is right now with the fall leaves.
Not sure. But would check local supermarkets
It is located on Little Pine Creek, good fishing and there is a dam and small impoundment with a beach for swimming. No easily accessible waterfalls.
