Went to pick up my new phone.The female employee who helped me was great. My phone was ready for pick up so fast I was shocked lol. I went around the 11am hour not that busy.

I’ve been a Verizon customer for over 25 years and finally decided to upgrade my iPhone 7 Plus. All I can say is what should be a seamless process to order a new phone ($1k+) and trade in the 7 plus ($350 credit) turned into a total waste of time and two visits to the Middletown, DE store. Needless to say, I canceled the order as it’s not worth the level of aggravation. My last time physically going into a Verizon store. I should have read the reviews before even thinking about an upgrade and using this store for pick-up.

We went here for upgrades for my daughter's. Arrived at 6:45pm, the sign on the door says closes at 8:00pm. We were looking at the new iPhone (my daughter's love iphone...SAMSUNG 😀) We were there for 2 minutes when an older white gentleman comes up and says "How can I help you" I told him I have upgrades ready and I would like to upgrade my daughter's phones. He says "No, see we close at 7:00pm and I would like to start closing now so this will not happen tonight" I looked at him and said "the sign says 8:00pm on the door so we have plenty of time" his reply was "We are under temporary hours so our new time is 7:00pm" my oldest daughter looks at him and says "Well if that's true then will you be fixing the sign on the door to reflect this change" That's when we walked out. I went home did the upgrades online for them. Never again will I go to this store. I have been a VZW customer since 2008 and this store has always been rude. I love VZW but this Middletown store needs new nicer people

I will never go to this store again. Went in at 6:30 and they close at 7. They asked me if they could help and I said I wanted to look at a phone. They said we starting the closing process so can't do a transfer now. I said well can I look at phones. He POINTED me in the direction of phones. Then when I had questions said we can't sell you a phone tonight. Wouldn't answer any questions about phones either. I said guess you don't want to sell a phone. Told them I won't buy a phone here that is for sure. Wouldn't even give us any help and basically wanted us out of the store.
